The iTAG (Investigating Tobacco and Gender) team includes academics, community-based researchers, health care professionals and policy makers dedicated to better understanding the influence of gender on tobacco reduction and cessation interventions. We are located at the
University of British Columbia in Vancouver
and
Okanagan.
Our team is working together to achieve a comprehensive understanding of gender differences in tobacco reduction and cessation behaviours and to ultimately improve the treatment of tobacco dependence among both genders. Our team members have an extensive background and expertise in women’s and men’s health, addictions, smoking cessation treatments, tobacco control, health promotion and knowledge translation.
